Learning Curve - Automations!

A few of you may have received an accidental automated email—apologies! A few more have received multiple emails, sorry!

I keep fastidious production records via spreadsheets; in fact, I always have. I was introduced to spreadsheets in college (statistical analysis class) and never looked back. There are so many steps in making handpans that spreadsheets felt like a natural fit to stay organized.

Recently a customer visited and clued me into automations/APIs/webhooks. What I realized is that in keeping the records that I do I could also keep customers more informed regarding exactly where their Xenith is in the production cycle. I was testing things out and when I moved one column total chaos ensued (hence the accidental emails).

The end goal is that you, the customer, stay more informed and I spend more time in the tuning room and less time on the computer. A good goal that will be achieved, even with a few growing pains.

More tuning, less typing!
