Previously Unreleased Hydroforming Video

I still can’t believe this video was filmed 6 years ago. This was within weeks of successfully hydroforming my first shell. I had yet to even make an instrument from a hydro shell so at this point and I didn’t know if the shells were going to work for my application. The purple spray paint on the wood stand means I bought scrap lumber as I likely attempting to save money. The impact gun has two adapters to get to such a big socket as I couldn’t yet afford the properly sized impact.

Filmed by a visiting customer, he was there to purchase what I now know was my last handsunk instrument. While I don’t miss it I wouldn’t change my path—what a ride that was!
